O'Malley!

Tonight, I was working in the kitchen (For the most part, even though my technical title is "Host", I'm the unofficial cook at second city, and, just for a geographic image, the Kitchen is between the two stages at Second City, the Main and ETC stages.) and in walks Tim O'Malley.

For those of you who don't know, Tim is a wonderful improviser, who was on the Second City Mainstage at the time of Chris Farley and Tim Meadows. He now teaches at the Second City Conservatory.

He also was one of the judges at my Level 2 audition this weekend.

Now that the formalities are out of the way, onto the story. I was cooking, and saw Tim walking up, and waved and said "Hey!" to which he said "Hey, great job on your audition saturday!" and as I said "Thank you!" he nodded, and exited the kitchen.

I've never been more proud in my life, until I heard from someone who watched the exchange, that Tim doesn't give compliments normally.
